Born: 1965 - Mexico D. F., Mexico.

Education: Degree in Graphic Design at the School of Design of the National Institute of Fine Arts, Mexico.

Experience: Scholar of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts on two occasions, is a member of the Payment System in Kind of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, and since 2007 belongs to the National System of Art Creators.

Awards: He has obtained different awards and recognitions for his outstanding artistic career. He received, in 1989, the Award for the best video in Sol de Neón in Mexico D.F. (1989), as well as an Honorable Mention in the X Rufino Tamayo Biennial in Mexico (2000).

Shows: Among his more than 20 individual exhibitions, stand out: Elipsis, Carrillo Gil Art Museum, Mexico City (1996); Wax Skin, Mexican Institute of Culture, San Antonio, Texas, United States (1999); 4A2G, Museum of Modern Art, Mexico City (2001) and Horizontes, Consulate General of Mexico, Chicago (2006).

Collections: Among the most recognized collections and museums that have copies of the author are: the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City, the Manuel Felguérez Abstract Art Museum in Zacatecas, the Bancomer Cultural Foundation in Mexico City, the Absolut Vodka Collection , the San Ángel Cultural Center in Mexico City, as well as the Patrimonial Collection of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit in Mexico City

BIOGRAFÍA

Nacimiento: 1965 - México D. F., México.

Estudios: Licenciatura en Diseño Gráfico en la Escuela de Diseño del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes, México.

Experiencia: Becario del Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes en dos ocasiones, es integrante del Sistema de Pago en Especie de la Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público, y desde 2007 pertenece al Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte.

Premios: Ha obtenido diferentes premios y reconocimientos por su destacada trayectoria artística. Recibió, en 1989, el Premio por el mejor video en el Sol de Neón en México D.F. (1989), así como una Mención Honorífica en la X Bienal Rufino Tamayo en México (2000). 

Presentaciones: Entre sus más de 20 exhibiciones individuales, se destacan: Elipsis, Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, Ciudad de México (1996); Wax Skin,  Instituto Mexicano de Cultura, San Antonio, Texas, Estados Unidos (1999); 4A2G, Museo de Arte Moderno,  Ciudad de México (2001) y Horizontes,  Consulado General de México, Chicago (2006).

Colecciones: Entre las colecciones y museos más reconocidos que poseen ejemplares del autor se encuentran: el Museo de Arte Moderno de la Ciudad de México, el Museo de Arte Abstracto Manuel Felguérez en Zacatecas, la Fundación Cultural Bancomer en México D.F., la Colección Absolut Vodka, el Centro Cultural San Ángel en México D.F., así como la Colección Acervo Patrimonial de la Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público en México D.F.
